Forty Creek Animal Hospital is an independently owned, family-run animal hospital that cares for pets and the people who love them. Our approach and space are intentionally designed to make you and your pet feel at home. With our peaceful coffee shop vibes and down-to-earth team, dogs, cats and humans are welcome to take part in an elevated approach to pet (and people) well-being and connection.
We see and honour the bond you share with your pet. While no one could ever love them as much as you do, the Forty Creek team comes pretty close. This love is evident in every interaction and procedure. It’s also seen in our dedication to doing all we can to ensure pets live long, happy and healthy lives.
We proudly serve the needs of pets and their people in Beamsville, Grimsby, Niagara and nearby communities. New patients are enthusiastically welcomed to the Forty Creek family.

OUR OWNERS
When good people committed to a shared passion find each other, everything works better. This synergy describes our owners in a hundred different and important ways. Dr. Jay Thrush and Lisa Milan met by chance at a veterinary conference and experienced an instant connection that has built a whole beautiful life in six short years. Part of that connection was a shared vision to create an animal hospital that embraced caring for pets – and their people – in an all-encompassing, heart-centred and reimagined way.
Forty Creek Animal Hospital is the manifestation of this vision. It is also a living commitment to family, community, professional excellence, pet well-being and highly specialized surgical care. Forty Creek Animal Hospital is a love story. Jay and Lisa invite you and your pets to be a part of it.
